Important Dates
Friday 10th November - Skipping workshop, all children to come in PE kits.
Wednesday 15th November - Individual photos, children to come in school uniform.
Friday 17th November - Children in Need, children to come in spots for a small donation.
Monday 11th December - Nativity performance 2.15.
Tuesday 12th December - Nativity performance 9.30.
Monday 22nd January - Chester Zoo trip.
Reading is a whole school focus this year. In Key Stage One we expect children to read three times a week. Every time your child reads at home, they will get a stamp in their reading record. Once they have read 20 times they will receive a prize.
Children are encouraged to change their own reading books allowing them more freedom to choose what they are interested in. Your child will still read with an adult regularly and a comment will go in their reading records.
Monday
We will visit the school library on a Monday, every other week
PE - come in PE kit with a water bottle
new homework is handed out - due back on Monday
