Primary School
PE- Year 5's PE day this half term is Wednesday. On this day, children will need to wear school PE kit. This consists of: a plain white t-shirt, plain navy or black shorts/ tracksuit bottoms/ thick full length leggings and a plain navy or black jumper if required.
Homework- Year 5 will be set homework online every Friday. This needs to be completed by the following Wednesday. Homework is currently: two Maths shed challenges, regular use of Times Tables Rockstars or Mathletics Live (at least 10 minutes once a week) and various pages from a SPaG revision guide.
Planners- Planners need to be in school daily so children can record their reading and merits. Children should read at home at least three times a week. A signature is required weekly from a parent or carer. Planners will be checked every Friday.
Books- If children bring in their reading book when it is finished, they should bring it to school and we will try and exchange it as soon as possible. Children will also have the opportunity to select a library book to take home once every two weeks. We also encourage children to read any books they enjoy from home.
