Look at our Autumn Topic
Our Topic for Autumn 1 is Spain.
During Autumn 1 we learnt about traditional Spanish games, we even made our own versions of chapas:
We also played the game outside.
We also took part in a debate about bullfighting and the ethical issues surrounding the controversial sport.

Our topic for Autumn 2 is The Romans.
During this half term we will be lucky enough to have a real life Roman come and visit us in school.
Date: Friday 24th November.
We are going to be looking at day to day life of the Romans, where they invaded, what they did for entertainment and who they worshiped.
In literacy we have been studying the book, Escape from Pompeii, the children have enjoyed this exciting true story about the destruction of a whole city. They are currently writing diary entries imagining what it would be like to see a volcanic eruption.
