Key Dates and Information

All key dates and information will be posted on this page as well as in the window of the classroom so please keep an eye out. Other key dates will be posted in the school newsletter.

Our PE day is Friday. Please come to school wearing your PE kit and sensible shoes.

Please ensure your child has a PE kit that includes -a plain white t-shirt, black or navy tracksuit, black or navy shorts for the warmer weather and any comfortable trainers. Alternatively children can wear the blue Pudsey Waterloo PE t-shirt and hoodie. Please note that children need to wear plain PE kit and it must not have branded labels on. Please make sure all PE kit is clearly named.

Please ensure that children bring a water bottle. Earrings need to be taken out or covered up with plasters/tape. Thank you for your cooperation with PE uniform, it does ensure we all look the same and smart.

Reading books will be changed on a Tuesday and Friday. Children are responsible for bringing their book into class on those mornings.

Reading is so important and we ask that you read a little each night, we know this is not always possible, but your support at home with reading is key. If you are able to ask questions on what your child has read this also supports their understanding. Feel free to speak to one of the teachers if you need any sample questions.

Homework will begin shortly. One of our main priorities will be reading, so when your child does bring a book home please read a little every night. Other homework will be online and children will be given log in details and passwords in the coming weeks.
