Primary School
We will be teaching KIRFs (Key Instant Recall Facts) to the children throughout the year. KIRFs are designed to support the development of their mental maths skills.
The children will be having four sessions a week where they will be able to practise one of the given targets.
The activities are practical and fast pace to ensure that the children can recall these facts quickly. During these sessions, the children will be able to work with a partner, individually or as a whole class where they will learn the given target.
Supporting at home
The children will hopefully be able to share with you some of the activities that they have done or websites that they have used within class.
