Maths

All pupils in KS2 have a login for Times Tables Rock Stars in their planner. It's a great website where they can practise their times tables! Pupils can use the same login details to access Numbots,  a website designed to help children with their subitising and number facts.

English

  • Literacy Trust Lots of advice and support in developing literacy for parents, schools and teachers

  • The Teacher Reader Another great website full of great ideas for new books to read, sorted by year group

  • Books for Topics Lots of reading suggestions for children, linking fiction to non-fiction interests

  • School Reading Lists Lots of resources to promote wider reading in and out of school for every year group

  • Sentence Play Great games and ideas on how to improve sentences.

  • Who Next A great website for recommending new authors based on your child's current reading

  • https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize  The BBC Bitesize website has a wealth of games, information and videos to help your child with all the National Curriculum subjects, including English

 

Online Safety

The NSPCC have created a really helpful website for parents to help children navigate the online world.

 

Social Emotional and Mental Health Support

The Mindmate website is an information hub about support services, advice and information on common issues, self help guidance, plus young people’s stories and experiences.
