We will be learning lots of rhymes. These will help us develop lots of early literacy and mathematical skills.

On the move
Ways to support your child this half term:
· Read and retell familiar stories together. Talk about the characters, setting (where the story takes place) and main events
· Talk about rhyming words and point them out when sharing books together
· Bake some Gingerbread Men together
· Visit the local library and look for books about different types of transport
· Count how many vehicles you see whilst out and about
· Explore different ways of moving. Practise running, skipping, hopping, jumping etc
· Make a model vehicle using materials from your recycling bin
· Practise counting out objects from a larger group together
