What are school hours?
School starts at 08.50am and finishes at 3.15pm.
Playtime: 10.15 to 10.30 am for Years 1 and 2
10.30 to 10.45 for Years 3,4,5 & 6
Reception and KS1: 12.00 to 1.00pm
KS2: 12.10 to 1.00pm
What equipment do the children need for PE?
Indoors – children do PE in their bare feet indoors. They should wear shorts and a different T- shirt to the one they come to school in, for hygiene reasons.
Outdoors – the ideal equipment is tracksuit (or similar) and training shoes.
Jewellery – ALL jewellery must be removed before PE, including stud ear rings. If they can not be removed, a plaster needs to be worn to cover it.
Children require a note from home if they are to be excused from PE.
What should I do if my child is ill?
If your child is ill, a phone call is required on the morning of the first day of absence or a written note from the Parent/Carer if a phone call is not possible.
What if my child needs to take medication?
Prescribed medication form doctor can be administered by school staff.
Non- prescribed medication needs to be administered by the child’s parent/carer.

School dinner money fees
Nursery £2.10 a day
Year 3 to year 6 is £2.10 a day and £10.50 a week (Reception - Year 2 qualify for Universal Free School Meals)
If you wish to change from dinners to sandwiches or sandwiches to dinners, a minimum of 2 weeks notice in writing is required.
How are admissions dealt with for our school?
We have own Nursery and all admissions are dealt with via the main school office. Children can start in Nursery in the term after their third birthday.

Whole school - Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 9:00
Foundation stage - Friday at 14:40
How do I find out what parents think of the school?
We carry out a number of surveys throughout the year to capture the views of our parents and the results are shared through the newsletters and are displayed on the parents' board in the main entrance to school.
